Founder and co-founder
Shri. Karuppa Gounder and Shrimathi Chellammal.
Though born and brought up in Palayapalayam, our founder Thiru. Karuppa Gounder had great lofty ideals of educating the downtrodden village children and litting lights in their hearts and lives.
By birth, he was multi talented and intellectual.He was also interested in Agriculture.
His better-half , Thirumathi. Chellammal, the Co- Founder of this institution offered the essential moral and physical support to the Founder in all possible means always.
With her strong support, he made their home a school for the poverty ridden children to stay late in the evenings and study for their SSLC public examinations.
With upgraded educational qualification, he became the distinguished Headmaster of the Govt. Aided Middle School and got the profound love and affection of the village people in and around Namakkal.
Even today, he is fondly remembered by all as ” Periya Vathiyar” and his beloved wife as ” Periya Teacher”.
CHAIRMAN
Dr. M.K. Ramasamy
He was born in Muthukapatti at Namakkal and got his school education at Sendamangalam.
He proceeded to Chennai to pursue his B.V.Sc. He, then, served in Aavin Milk Company as a prominent General Manager in various districts and also contributed his worthy service in Sakthi Group of Industries in Coimbatore.
After his voluntary retirement from service, he became the prestigious Chairman of this institution.
From then, this institution has started to explore various domains in the field of education and experience many updations. It has touched its peak of development in its infrastructure and internal affairs.
Being the Financial Administrator, he has laid the foundation for the multifaceted growth of this institution.
Secretary and Correspondent
Smt. K. Saradhamani
She is the beloved lady of motivation and the daughter of the Founder and the Co – founder of this institution. She completed her Secondary School Education here in this institution and pursued her Higher Secondary Education at Kalaimagal Kalvi Nilayam in Erode. Later she went to SRC Women’s College at Trichy to have her Under Graduation in Maths.
With post graduation in English, she led Bharathi High School as an eminent Head Mistress for 33 years. After her retirement, she became the Secretary cum Correspondent of the school.
Aided by her tremendous teaching experience and inherited administration skills from her parents,she has been a perfect role model leader for the principals, teachers and students.
Being compassionate and kind, she is very well aware of the difficulties and sufferings of the local rural people. Keeping the best company of the efficient teachers and the excellent students , she manages the administration works highly well
DIRECTOR
Dr. Karthik Ram
Our director is an exemplary visionary who believes in the uniqueness of every child and focuses on laying a strong foundation for the young winners.
His humble beginnings map back to this very same school in the small village of Reddipatti, Namakkal and hence he intertwines empathy and holistic knowledge development in our academic drive.
He completed his M.B.B.S from the PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research and proceeded to specialise in General Surgery at the prestigious Stanley Medical College. He also holds his MRCS degree from The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and a gold medalist in DNB(Plastic Surgery) from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He is currently the Chief Cosmetic Surgeon and Managing Director of Chennai Plastic Surgery. His enormous contribution to the aesthetic health care system has tremendously transformed the lives of several thousand.
Under his able leadership and guidance runs the “Cosmo Skills Fellowship Program” for aspirant Plastic Surgeons. His research and paper publications stand apart adding to the advancements in the field. His extensive travel across the world has enabled him to bring together the best of educational practices and cultural influences from around the globe to this organisation.
Being aware of the real struggles to fly high in colours and having witnessed the gaps in the academic field helps him distinctively guide our school. The rich gamut of his learnings from his educational & professional journeys paves way for our school to bring in world-class experiences for our children to combat the ever-evolving competition.
Director’s Message
I have a dream for you. I want all of you to be winners.
Marks are important, yes. But so is the overall development of a human.
That is my dream for you. My vision.
However, in today’s scenario, most schools focus only the marks scored for getting into mainstream colleges. While this is very important I believe that along with the ‘score’ one has to develop as a human with unique interests and talents. Everybody is different. Everybody has some hidden talent. Developing this will help a student become a wholesome individual who not only scores well but has skills that are completely his or her own. Which again reflects in the overall development to help boost our students self-confidence.
For example, you could have amazing entrepreneurial skills. Or you could be passionate about singing, dancing, cooking, gardening…. Etc. We want to encourage you to bring out the full potential of the real ‘you’.
Education is not rote learning. It is about going deeper and understanding concepts so your foundation becomes solid and you communicate better. Our life skill training boosts your confidence, making you step into the competitive world with the sound backing of a wholesome education.
At Bharathi we focus on person that is ‘you’, and give ‘you’ the foundation that will help ‘you’ do a brilliant job in any competitive exams conducted in India or anywhere in the world.
